Story

“Human beings are members of a whole in creation of one essence and one soul.” ~ Sa’adi

Inspired by this quote from the Persian poet Sa’adi. These hoops represent the wholeness we carry within us - and the wholeness carried by our universe.

These hoops are a reminder to us that wholeness is not a physical entity.

Each hoop, a circle which appears incomplete but carries inherent value. Whether we carry inherent differences that project as societal divide or we carry traditions that make us feel worlds apart. Whether we feel incomplete on our personal journeys or disconnected from our motherland and cultural roots; we are whole.

Wholeness itself is always present - it morphs into different vessels throughout our personal and collective journeys - and that’s all we need to know. 

Creation Process

Every piece designed by Telah has been handmade in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter by an award winning craftsperson through the lost wax process. The rugged texture of every piece, represents a heritage that has passed through generations, retaining value despite a long and soulful journey.
